Simon Carves is pleased to offer Lead Assessor Support to approve your ESOS Assessment.
The Energy Savings Opportunity Scheme (ESOS) is a mandatory energy assessment and energy saving identification scheme for large businesses within the UK. By December 5th 2015, all businesses with 250 employees or more, or annual turnovers exceeding £38.9m, will have to: measure their total energy consumption, conduct an energy audit, and report compliance to the Environment Agency.
All ESOS assessments will have to be reviewed by a Board level Director and approved by a Lead Energy Assessor.
Simon Carves Engineering Ltd is pleased to provide a registered Lead Energy Assessor to conduct, oversee or approve your ESOS Energy Audit to ensure your business complies with this new regulation.
Role of Lead Assessor
SCEL’s Lead Assessor will undertake, oversee or review your Energy Audit. They will sign-off your ESOS Assessment once complete, to confirm that it meets the overall ESOS requirements. Our Lead Assessor can also help oversee other parts of the ESOS Assessment process, such as the measurement of your total energy consumption, identifying areas of significant energy consumption, and conducting the ESOS Energy Audit.
